Spencer and I first discussed the idea of partnering while walking Riviera Country Club during the PGA TOUR’s Northern Trust Open. You must have passion for this line of work (in our case, energy and enthusiasim around the world of travel, resort real estate, golf, food and wine). and be interested in your client’s business; otherwise, it is impossible to sell your client’s story to the media. PR professionals need to excel at multitasking and hone your writing skills. I find that more and more the art of writing is neglected, but it is so important to be a strong writer – it’s one of the most important tools of our trade.
